Celebrating the great Mother’s Day with the elderly on 7 May, 2011
We celebrated the great Mother’s Day and the 65th anniversary year of our firm, with the elderly at the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Tseung Kwan O Aged Care Complex on 7 May, 2011. We had 20 more participants joining this meaningful community service. It was really a memorable day at the complex with the elderly, especially to celebrate the Mother’s Day. We were first given a tour of the complex and a brief introduction of the facilities they had there. The event was then kicked off by our Senior Partner, Mr. Moses Cheng’s speech and presenting the souvenir to the complex by our partner, Mr. Lester Huang. We had prepared a series of singing performances and games for the elderly. To share a piece of the Mother’s Day, we gave each of the elderly a gift set packed in a recycle bag. This includes the useful magnifying torch produced for celebrating our firm’s 65th anniversary too. The event ended with joy and laughter of all the elderly, the volunteers and our colleagues.
