Dr. Lewis Luk was trained in P. C. Woo & Co. and qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 1986. He rejoined our Firm on 1st August 2008 and aims to extend our services to the Small and Medium Enterprises ("SME") and the Industrial sector. Dr. Luk works and stations in our branch office in Kwai Chung, New Territories.

Dr. Luk was deeply involved in the consultation of the Competition Bill. He was the convener of Competition Law Focus Group of HK Business Community Joint Conference, convener of Competition Law in the Economic Synergy and deputy convener of Competition Bill in DAB. On March 2013, Dr. Luk was appointed by the government to the Working Group on Intellectual Property (“IP”) Trading. For 2011, 2012 and 2013, Dr. Luk were appointed member of the Steering Committees of Business of IP in Asia Forum organized by the HKTDC. Currently, he is the president of Hong Kong Institute of Patent Attorneys and a teaching fellow on patent courses of University of Warwick and Vocational Training Council.

Dr. Luk also received training from the late Dr. the Honorable P. C. Woo on Chinese Customary Law. He has published a long paper on "Chinese Customary Law in Hong Kong" and issued an expert opinion on the Chinese Customary Law. The opinion was filed with the US Consulate Office for immigration purpose.
